The river that flows through town is largely dry except for some pools of very warm, greenish water. So where do the fish, river otters, mink and beavers go?

A shallow pool. Had hoped for some rain from tropical storm Hermine but only got a couple of brief showers that barely made the ground wet. We have a 60% chance of getting .2 inches of rain today with little chance of rain for the next 10 days. It’s going to take a lot more rain than that to bring water levels up to normal.
