One of the wonderful things about summer is being barefoot and feeling the earth beneath your feet. Here are a few different places I enjoy walking barefoot.
warm sand at the lake shows many foot steps at the end of the day
the backyard – lovely ajuga flowering in the lawn feels cushy under your feet
walk carefully! – a rocky beach in Maine
My daughter & her dog with the beautiful pink granite of “Wonderland” in Acadia National Park in Maine beneath their feet
