These dried daffodils on the windowsill seemed to be looking outside waiting for spring; almost as if they would come back to life when it arrives.
They also remind me that there is beauty in all phases of the life cycle. I really like the way the sun warms the dried papery petals accentuating their beauty. I kind of feel like that this time of year myself, waiting for the sun to bring me back to life.
Fortunately we don’t wilt so badly before the spring arrives again!! 😉

That is fortunate! Though I’ve pulled a few weeds in my south facing garden, the back garden is still under the snow. I’m hoping when we get to retirement years we can either move some place warmer or take a vacation to some place warm mid-winter. 🙂
