This week’s challenge asks us to use the “Rule of Thirds” where you frame a subject off center aligned where the lines would be if you divided an image into thirds. I have two very similar shots of our puppy Harry scrambling down a huge snow banking and had a hard time deciding which I liked best. One used the rule of thirds horizontally & vertically and one just vertically. Which do you prefer?
this one is cropped so that Harry’s body is aligned vertically and his eyes are on the horizontal line.
this one is aligned vertically only but both of Harry’s front paws are in the shot showing more action.
