If we put one front in front of the other, next thing we know we are stepping over the threshold to something new. I just finished the vine charcoal drawing that I started in my drawing class on Thursday night and am excited about how it came out. The last time I drew on a regular basis was in the Drawing I class that I took as an elective at UNH in 1981. I am looking forward to continuing my new adventures in art – no firm plan or goal in mind – just taking one step after another and seeing where I might go. What new thing in your life have you been walking toward?
Enjoy the weekend everyone!
Cyndi, it came out great! Looks like you picked right up where you left off. Good for you!
I tried to draw something a few years ago after not having picked up a pencil in the same amount of time as you and mine was horrendous!
Keep drawing!

This isn’t a picture of the first thing I drew. This is after 6 weeks of class and practicing at home in between. (I certainly have a pile of practice stuff!)

You are a very talented artist, Cyndi. Please keep drawing, now that you have stepped over THAT threshold 🙂

Thank you Annette. I appreciate your encouragement. The instructor is trying to pull together some people so we can do another 6-8 weeks of class. I find the structure very helpful.
