The news media were talking about NEMO all day yesterday. When we went to bed last night we only had 4 inches of snow on the ground though it had started to snow pretty hard. (Our snow had all melted in a heavy rain two weeks ago so the ground was pretty bare before the storm started.) This is what we woke up to with a forecast of blizzard conditions into the afternoon. It is about 20 F with steady blowing snow. However, we do have power and it is nice and warm inside. I’m sure the skiers and snowmobilers are very happy today! I’m happy to have a protective cover over my flowerbeds to protect them from the cold temps over the next couple of months.

ummm. Not fair. You don’t have to poop outside in this!
My husband helping our daughter clean her car off to get to work. (She made it safely. Now don’t you think she deserves a raise?)

I can smell my husband making breakfast in the kitchen. Time to go help!

I’d be happy to trade a snow day for a warm & sunny day. We had another storm this past weekend and it is snowing again right now! I did work at home today instead of driving in the bad weather to the office . . .

We’ve had rain and more rain, although today the sun has finally come out. Sadly, that means high humidity. Send the snow over, I’d be very happy to send you the heat and humidity!

Thank you! The snow is stopping earlier than originally forecast and we paid some neighborhood kids to shovel us out. Thankfully the snow is light and fluffy.
