It is nature’s season of rest in New England. The leaves have fallen off the trees and are brown underfoot, but there are still plenty of soft greens to be found at my favorite walking place. Come and see!
(Poetry fans- check out my previously posted poem, When I Saw the River Breath, written about this same place.)
Oh, I like that. It looks like a forest creature’s old twisted fingers.

I love that you noticed that. There are lots of trees in this area with roots that look like fingers or claws reaching down into the earth. Mystical.

Green is natural and beautiful!
Finding patches of green in different shades, especially at a time like this is just so amazing.
Lovely post!

It is such a beautiful place with wonderful energy. I think all of the green helps to create that special feeling.

Thank you isobelandCat. My dog had just walked through the water which created the blur of colors. (She has good manners and doesn’t chase cats, LOL))

Yes I am, I know I haven’t written as many articles on nature lately, but there are plenty that are done already and I plan on doing more in the very near future. In fact, thanks for reminding me!!!
